Programme
There will be 20 lessons per week in classes of a maximum of 14 students. Stimulating lessons both in and out of the classroom will bring the language alive. The first part of the morning will concentrate on consolidating and expanding the existing knowledge of students through integrated skills lessons. In the second part of the morning students will be encouraged to make active use of their language skills in interesting and challenging project based lessons that bring the real world into the classroom and students out into the English speaking environment. Lessons are interactive and communicative. Projects will be based on the interests of students but will also link closely to the social programme activities such as trips to Shakespeare's Globe theatre or the National Gallery. For a sample of our social and academic programme, please see below.
On the student's first morning we will establish the student's ability by means of a written test and an interview. Students will also receive an induction that will explain the school programme, rules and all vital information they will need during their stay.
